HTC One V has a simple bar design with rounded edges. The HTC One V is bound to grab attention with its extended chin design. The highly durable metal body is complemented with 3.7 inch Super LCD2 capacitive touchscreen that offers bright display, richer colours. The right side of the phone has volume controls whereas, the left side only has a Micro USB port. On its top it has a power button, a micro SIM card compartment, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top. Above its screen is usual earpiece and proximity and ambient light sensors whereas, below the screen has capacitive touch keys for Back, Home and Task manager. HTC One V runs not only on Google’s Android operating system 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICE) and with HTC’s own Sense 4. The device is powered with 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM 8255 processor. HTC has proved its technology sound with past success and has moved a step further. With both Android 4.0 ICE and sense 4, the handset promises the blazing speed. The interface is very much similar to its flagship One X and is easy to personalize.

The video supported formats are .3gp, .3g2, .mp4, .wmv, .avi (MP4 ASP and MP3) and the recording format is .mp4.

HTC One V comes with in-built 4 GB of memory space from which 1 GB is user accessible. To compensate, HTC has offered memory card slot, using which memory can be extended to 32 GB. HTC has come up with Dropbox that is integrated into HTC Sense. You can automatically save all your photos and videos to Dropbox and can access and share all your pictures directly from the Gallery. Dropbox also makes it easy to edit and share files.
Battery:
HTC One V comes with a Li-Ion 1500 mAh standard battery. The battery performed excellent results while testing. The battery works fine with daily average use and with data usage as well. The stand by time delivered when tested was up to 400 hours on 2G and 320 hours on 3G. The music play time is up to 32 hours whereas, the Talk time it gave when on test was up to 7.15 hours on 2G and up to 5.5 hours on 3G.
