The BlackBerry Curve 9320 is the latest entry in Curve series of Blackberry and is better than its predecessors. The Class QWERTY keypad this time is fitted strongly with aluminum sides and same glossy plastic body. The dimensions of this phone are 109mm, 60 mm and 12.7 mm in height, width and depth. It weights only 103 gm, which is an ease to your hand and gives it an edge over its competitors. There is a dedicated BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) key on its left side with a USB and charging port above it. On the top is a dedicated Lock key with 3.5 mm earjack. The right side has volume controls and a dedicated camera key. The bottom part of phone has a speaker and mouthpiece. There is a sensitive touch optical trackpad that helps you navigate through the phone. It has a Transmissive TFT LCD screen with 2.44 inches screen size and gives you 320 x 240 pixels colours display. The curvy sides of the phone are made with rich Aluminum and provide safety to the device.
Interface/OS:
The curve 9320 runs on BlackBerry 7.1 Operating System. And it also works with 806 MHz processor and 512 MB of RAM to support your operation.
Features/Applications:
BlackBerry Curve 9320 smartphone comes jam-packed with features. This allows a subscriber to can set up email, download apps, personalise smartphone. The BlackBerry Curve 9320 comes loaded with social apps like, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. BlackBerry Messenger Service (BBM), blackberry App world, Maps, Social Feeds with Wi-Fi connectivity is a good experience. The browser offers multiple window access and is easy to use. It is available in 5 playful colours, which are Black, Pure white, Pink, Red and Teal Blue. It offers multiple messaging options such as SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and Instant Messaging. The stereo FM radio in-built offers many radio stations and can be played both on headset and speaker mode. Curve 9320 has not miss the other basic features like organizer, document viewer, memo pad, files, calculator, etc. are all inherited in it. The voice calling/dialing, voice notes are some important features of the phone. Multitasking and swapping applications are fast and easy with its 806 MHz processor and 512 MB RAM.
Camera:
Learning from its past, RIM has improved its camera. The BlackBerry Curve 9320 comes with 3.2 megapixels camera with LED flash light and better picture quality. The picture resolution is even better with 2048 x 1536 pixels. Video recording options is also present. The in-built camera features include image stabilization, Geotagging and extended depth of field. When tested, the colours of outdoor photos were rich and clear and colours of indoor photos were comparatively less rich. But still, curve 9320 is not built with a front camera that the earlier curve series were even missing.
Memory:
BlackBerry Curve 9320 gives you 512 MB of inbuilt memory space and up to 32 GB expandable memory with micro USD card. The memory space is more than enough with this processor and RAM.
Audio/Video:
The Curve 9320 gives an awesome sound quality both on headset and loud speaker. When tested, the call quality was superb and my voice to the caller was sharp and clear. The video quality is superb and it supports various video formats like, .mp4, .m4a, .3gp, .3gp2, .m4v, .avi, .asf, .wmv and .wma. The video quality of Curve 9320 is better and clear. The music player supports mp4, .m4a, .3pg, .3gp2, .m4v, .avi, .asf, .mp3, .wmv, .wma, .flac, .ogg, .aac, .amr, .wav and .mid audio formats.
Battery:
BlackBerry Curve 9320 comes with 1450 mAh Li-Ion battery. When tested, battery delivered up to 7 hours of talk time and it the standby time was 17 days. The music playback time is up to 28 hours with headset usage.
